Luxury vinyl plank has earned its popularity. A rigid waterproof core, a printed wood visual that's genuinely convincing, and a wear layer built for claws, cleats, and dropped sippy cups — it's the floor we recommend most often for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and whole busy main levels.
Quality varies more than the boxes let on. The wear layer's thickness (measured in mils) decides how the floor looks in five years, and the core decides how it handles temperature swings. We'll steer you to product that earns its price — whether you buy it through us or bring your own.
How we install it
LVP is honest about your subfloor: every dip and ridge telegraphs through. So we flatten first — patching and leveling before the first plank clicks — then install click-lock or glue-down as the product and room demand, with clean transitions at every doorway.

Is LVP really waterproof?
The planks themselves are — spills and pet accidents sit on top until you wipe them. Flooding can still reach the subfloor through edges, so "waterproof floor" doesn't mean "waterproof room."
Click-lock or glue-down?
Click-lock floats and installs fast in most homes; glue-down excels in big open runs, sun-soaked rooms, and commercial spaces. We'll recommend based on the room, not the easiest install.
